Streaming

Hello all welcome to a random topic by GamingWorld12. Today's topic is streaming if you couldn't tell by the title is streaming and what it is and how I feel about it. Streaming is basically doing a YouTube video but live its putting content out there as you do it meaning its unedited and unchanged entertainment. All in all I love streaming if your computers internet is good enough to handle it and you want to do stuff online I recommend doing it. Just know its harder work cause you have to try to keep talking and keep bringing the humor or else you'll lose viewers quickly. So in short term if your not able to keep going hours on end cause people expect streams to be longer than just 30 minutes do it. In case you want to watch some streams and get a feel for how they work I would check out pinecornn tealybear and destructoid. Thanks for reading and come back next time to see more random topics have a nice day.

My Thoughts on Indie Games

Hello all. Welcome to GamingWorld12's official random topic. This is something I decided to do whenever I come up with a topic; I'm gonna come here and write my feelings about it. Today's topic is the world of indie games. If you have ever seen any of my YouTube videos, you will know I am an avid lover of indie games. However, I don't really say why and that's what today's post is about: my reasons behind my love of indie games.

1. They Bring The Spotlight on to New Developers

If you don't know what i mean here im talking about the people who made the games indie games help show off an unknown or unfounded talent in someone these small games could change a persons life if there lucky and im proud to help.

2. Indie Games can Have More Interesting Mechanics Than the Average Triple A Titles

What im saying here is if you think about a fps such as Call Of Duty or Battlefield just naming the most famous of them they never really change from game to game thats because a slight change can make major fans hate the game but if you think of an indie fps they really don't have anything to lose so they can make much more drastic changes between games and show us an all new experience and for people like me who love change this is a great thing.

3. There's Much More of a Selection

When i say there's more i mean more think about it if your having trouble finding a triple a title dont worry you have an entire internet of games to explore tons and tons of different styles, gameplay mechanics, and genres for you to explore.

4.They're Cheaper

When you think about the average triple a title brand new  is around $60 but if you look at a website such as gamejolt you have a whole slew of free yes i said free games coming out almost everyday probably even every 12 hours there's a new game up so you will have a never ending supply of games which didn't cost you a dime.

Well there you go guys my random topic review on indie games i hope you enjoyed and please feel free to give me your thoughts and opinions over at GamingWorld12 and maybe even stick around and watch a video or two.

Hotline Miami

Hotline Miami has to be one of my favorite action games ever made. If you don't know what this game is it is a 2d top down action game with an awesome sound track and cool 80's art style that any fan of the original gta could fall in love with. This game is a blast to the past but with modern takes on some of the mechanics. It is extremely fun and fast paced featuring a majorly gory fighting system and a mafia style story that reminds me a lot of the movie Pulp Fiction if you haven't seen that movie once you do you'll know what I mean. I
highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a fun, extremely gory, and fast paced experience.

Thomas Was Alone

Although I have done a video on this i would still like to talk about this wonderful 2d puzzle platformer. Thomas was alone was created by Mike Bithell and is an absolutely fantastic indie game. This game is not only a puzzle platformer because to be honest the game play its self is not that interesting or exciting but what this game lacks in game play it makes up completely for in its beautiful sound track and amazing narrations. The narrations and story from this game made me fall in love with shapes by giving them traits and human like personality's that we all could relate to. Not even most triple A games could make me enjoy there characters but this small indie title did and it gives me hope that gaming isn't just turning into blowing things up as its main story line and no im not saying i don't like those games im just saying its nice to have something different once in awhile. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good story.
